Saya suka bersepeda dan tertarik sekali dengan kabar ini. London Olympic Velodrome dikabarkan sangat keren dan sustainable sehingga dapat penghargaan Prime Minister’s Better Public Building Award. Venue dengan 6000 tempat duduk akan menjadi tuan rumah Olympic dan paralympic track di tahun 2012. Setelah olimpiade usai, venue akan digunakan untuk para atlit dan komunitas sepeda lokal. termasuk cafe dan workshop sepeda.asyiknya. velodrom ini merupakan venue pertama yang diselesaikan oleh Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) pada Februari 2011. Tim rancang bangun venue ini adalah Hopkins Architects, Expedition Engineering, dan BDSP yang ditunjuk pada 2007 setelah memenangkan kompetisi desain yang melibatkan beberapa nama di dunia arsitektur termasuk pebalap sepeda Inggris Sir Chris Hoy. Kontraktornya adalah ISG.
